The recent Leaders’ Statement, Violence Against Children: A Hidden Crisis of the COVID-19 Pandemiccalled for an urgent and unified global response to protect children from the heightened risk of violence as part of the broader response to COVID-19. During this virtual event hosted by End Violence and the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General to End Violence Against Children, you will hear global experts' perspectives on how governments, the UN system and civil society organisations are responding to this challenge, along with what they are learning and what policy and programmatic approaches need to be prioritized.
