Zitukule is a human rights network of 14 local non-governmental organisations whose primary focus is the promoting of human rights in general, children rights and women rights in particular. Zitukule's work is centred around building the capacity of children and women as holders of human rights to claim their rights from duty bearers and also to exercise their urgency. Zitukule also promotes the development of community infrastructure, solidarity, and action for the promotion of human rights by disadvantaged groups of people, particularly those in rural areas. Zitukule also engages with the supply side through policy reform advocacy to ensure the protection and respect of human rights.
