YGAP is on a mission to improve the lives of one million people living in poverty by 2018. We support this change in the world by finding and backing local impact entrepreneurs changing lives in some of the world’s most challenging communities across Africa, Asia and Australia. We fund this work by running social enterprises, including the award-winning restaurant, Feast of Merit, and implementing creative fundraising campaigns like Polished Man.

YGAP is not a regular non-profit. We are a unique organisation, with a bold mission led by an inspired and innovative team. Our Polished Man Campaign challenges men to paint one fingernail to represent the one child that dies every five minutes as a result of violence. All funds raised by Polished Man are used to support both trauma prevention and trauma recovery programs for children who have experienced violence or at risk of violence. Polished Man has raised over $1.6 Million and engaged 70,000+ Polished Men from 90 countries around the world.
