Lumière des Hommes pour le Développement (LUHOD) Burundi is a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being regardless of gender, culture, religion and socio-economic background, LUHOD believes all children have the right to grow up in safety.

Our mission is to enable vulnerable children to enjoy their most fundamental rights and to develop fully in a healthy and constructive environment in order to overcome the effects of poverty and injustice.

Our vision is a community in which each child enjoys the right to life, to survival, to community and institutional protection, to participation and to the priority given to the best interests of their personality over all the multidimensional aspects of life.

LUHOD inspires the community of the constructive perception of the child and to invest in its development and the protection of its rights.
