The Freedom Story was founded in 2008 to prevent child trafficking in Northern Thailand. We do this through education, human rights programming and sustainable livelihoods programs. By keeping children in school through scholarships, academic support, mentorship and after school programs, they are given greater opportunities and the chance to choose a career. Human rights education allows children and adults we interact with to advocate for and know their rights. We also assist children who are stateless to get on the path to legal status. Finally, we assist families to reduce poverty, debt and increase income through increased skills and support.
