Working Together to End Online Sexual Exploitation of Children

Date: May 20, 2020
Time: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm New York
Address: Online
Organizer: International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission assembled a coalition of leading agencies on the frontlines of this hidden crime, including the U.S. Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (JTIP) and the Philippine Government’s Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), to learn more about OSEC. Using innovative methodologies, we uncovered several important findings and compiled them in the most comprehensive study to date on the nature and scale of OSEC in the Philippines.

Ten key recommendations emerged as a result of the study that, if adopted by the international community, could stop the rapid growth of the online sexual exploitation of children while equipping criminal justice system agencies and NGOs with promising practices in investigations, prosecutions, and survivor care.

Join IJM and partners for a global webinar for policymakers and practitioners to introduce this groundbreaking study’s findings and recommendations. As a member of this international community, you have an important role to play in protecting vulnerable children.

They will be offering two opportunities to attend. To reserve your spot, please select which session(s) you’d like to join and respond via the link below:
