Spreading the word: Parenting tips for COVID-19

COVID-19

Parenting Tips-1

The COVID-19 pandemic has upended family life around the world. School closures, working remote, physical distancing — it's a lot to navigate for anyone, but it's especially difficult for parents. At the onset of the pandemic, the Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH) initiative teamed up with End Violence, the US Centres for Disease Control, Oxford University, the World Health Organization and UNICEF to provide parents and caregivers with a set of handy tips to help manage this new normal. These tips include how to make the most of one-on-one time with your children, how to keep positive amidst an unsettling situation, and how to provide structure and stability for your children’s day, among many others.

Spreading the word

To date, these tips have reached over 74 million families across the world — and to spread them even wider, we have refreshed each tip with new visuals for easy sharing on social media.

In the links, you will find downloadable resources made for social media in six languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. These visual resources are complementary to full set of parenting tips.
