Alicia Blum-Ross

Alicia Blum-Ross is the Public Policy Lead for Kids and Families at Google. Prior to joining Google, she worked as a researcher, advocate and educator helping children more safely connect, create and learn online. Alicia is the co-author, with Professor Sonia Livingstone, of  Parenting for a Digital Future: How Hopes and Fears about Technology Shape Children’s Lives and has published research and appeared in press on kids' and technology issues on issues ranging from screen time to online safety.

Alicia has a PhD from University of Oxford, and was a researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the Department of Media and Communications and at the University of Surrey Digital World Research Center. She co-created and contributed to www.parenting.digital and tweets at @aliciablumross.
