Village Concern Uganda

Village Concern Uganda is a nonprofit organization initiated with the plight of transforming the most disadvantaged livelihoods and communities in Uganda to live better lives. Village Concern Uganda is purely a voluntary based initiative that doesn’t have any reliable source of funding or any donor agency other than support from friends, sympathizers, member’s own pockets and volunteer support in terms of skills and any other when implementing activities. Village Concern Uganda fights abject poverty and helps prevent violence through community-based development in Eastern Uganda. The members believe that solutions to poverty are best realized when those affected by it drive change. We also work to improve basic healthcare, sanitation, and education. Village Concern Uganda saves lives, prevents ethnic and religious violence, and creates opportunities in a place that outsiders often cast away as hopeless.
