Service Emergency for Rural People (SERP)

Service Emergency for Rural People (SERP) is a Bangladeshi NGO with registration from the NGO Affaire Bureau, Bangladesh & works from 1988. Since rooted causes of poverty & injustice; lack of education, water, health, sanitation & nutrition aspects coupled with hunger and their adverse consequences on children are the most stumbling blocks to end violence against children, the organization works with children of Bengali marginalized communities, plain land Adibasi and Dalit segment, especially the poorest of the poor who live in vulnerable situation irrespective of their caste, creed and socio-religious background to combat all forms of rights abuse, violence, torture, and atrocities faced by them focusing on Rights-Based Approach (RBA). Thus, they could become able to assert and enjoy their all rights and privileges alongside flourishing their full potentialities. Similarly, SERP also takes up advocacy initiatives targeting different audiences i.e child-related institutions/individuals to make them better oriented for a sustainable service delivery mechanism for the best interest of the concerned children.
