The Lebanese Institute for Child Rights

The Lebanese Institute for Child Rights is an NGO founded in 2004. The organization supports individuals and organizations working on the protection of children against abuse in Lebanon, and develops partnerships and exchanges with similar institutions in the Arab region and worldwide. The organization builds its action based on the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, works with professionals in Lebanon and the Arab Region. They also work in cooperation with professionals, institutional and human resources in contact with children, in a multidisciplinary team approach. The purpose is to develop skills, expand knowledge and enhance collaboration, with local and governmental Institutions, academic and research organizations, informal and private sectors, with families' and youth participation.
