KOSHISH

KOSHISH is a grassroots-level non-profit working for the upliftment of women and children suffering from mental health and other psychosocial issues, many of whom attempt suicide being deserted and forgotten by their own families and community due to prevalent stigma and prejudice.

We follow a twin-track approach, providing services at the grassroots levels and conducting advocacy at the national and provincial levels to include the parameters laid by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2006 in the services rendered to the persons with mental health/psychosocial disability at all levels.

We are a member of the National Federation of Disabled Nepal and work in coordination with the National Human Rights Commission of Nepal.
