Kagiri Community Development Youth Project

Kagiri Community Development Youth Project (KCDP) is a community-based organisation for children and youths and living in Uganda. They aim to help young people attend school through scholarships, and support them financially and through in-kind support. The organisation also cares for those living with disabilities and helps young mothers who dropped out of school at early age by engaging them into small businesses in order to sustain themselves.

The organization organises the United Nations Global Peace Games for Children and Youth every year from 2012 to-date. We engage children and youths in projects such as environmental conservation through a tree-planting programme and relief distribution project. They also organise medical camps through partnerships with other organisations, along with HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infection sensitisation, and more.
