Families Foundation is a global non-profit whose mission is to contribute to strengthening communities in lower- and middle-income countries by strengthening the foundational building block of all communities: the family. We want to actively contribute to a world in which all children have a nurturing and stimulating environment at home and in their communities. We build partnerships with government, local NGOs, CSOs as well as INGOs and provide work collaboratively to support effective implementation and sustainability of proven practices adapted to the local context, to effectively meet the needs of the community. We focus on local capacity building in five areas: community; workforce; family; system and research to support increased and sustained self-sufficiency for communities. We have extensive expertise in implementation science, collaborative planning, training and supporting the delivery of evidence-based programmes including the most evidenced parenting programme in the world.
