Beijing Children’s Legal Aid and Research Center is the first non-governmental organization working on children’s legal aid and research in China. Though providing legal aid for children, carrying out practical research, developing a professional network for child protection, and advocating law and policy reforms, BCLARC pursues comprehensive development in the field of child rights in China. BCLARC has participated in the drafting of China’s anti-domestic violence law, developed literature on how to handle cases involving domestic violence and sexual abuse against children for Chinese lawyers, and provides legal representation for child victims of violence.
