Aldeias Infantis SOS Brasil (SOS Children's Villages)

SOS Children's Villages Brazil (Aldeias Infantis SOS Brasil) is an international humanitarian organization, present in 135 countries and territories, which has worked for 50 years in vulnerable communities throughout Brazil, defending the right of children and young people. It provides care alternatives for children who have lost the care of their parents, fortifies families and communities not to lose the care of their children, and promote improvements in public policies so that no child grows alone. Present in 11 states and the Federal District, in 22 cities, it works with thousands of children, adolescents, youth and their families. The organization's daily activities generate positive impacts for more than 11,000 people, through education, sports, leisure, income generation and employability projects, with a focus on breaking the cycle of poverty and violence.
