African Partnership to End Violence Against Children

The African Partnership to End Violence Against Children is an Addis Ababa-based African umbrella coalition that brings together like-minded national, regional, and international organizations for collective action to ending violence against children in the continent. The African Partnership to End Violence against Children is born out of the need for having an Africa-wide collective platform for addressing the interrelated and mutually reinforcing targets related to violence against children set out in the SDGs, AU Agenda 2063, the African Agenda for Children’s Rights 2040 and other continental and sub-regional frameworks in Africa. The Partnership draws from the richness, opportunities but also the unique challenges of Africa, hence prioritizes entrenching the violence against children agenda within the AU and the Regional Economic Communities.
