Acrobatics Circus Troupe (ACT) is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Katwe, the largest slum in Kampala, Uganda. We use acrobatics to empower the children in Katwe and to keep them away from drugs, alcohol, gangs and violence. We have a small training ground that serves as a safe space for many of our children, a place they can go after school or over the weekends - where they know they will be welcomed and supported. We currently assist over 225 children in the community, providing them with clothing, food and school supplies.
